Hotel in London near Trafalgar Square. The main entrance has a wheelchair lift in the center of entrance steps. Very progressive, jolly old London town!

This hotel was excellent in terms of accessibility. As mentioned in the description, there is a lift centrally located at the main entrance steps, which is extraordinary for London. The lift was modern and safe, enclosed partially by plexiglass for safety. The employees at the door and the front desk showed sincere hospitality and understanding. The room had an accessible shower, as well. They did an excellent job with wake up calls and arranging for an accessible taxi for transport to Heathrow quite early in the morning. Something we loved about this hotel was the offering of filtered water at a water station on each floor. Reusable water bottles were also offered. I love the eco -conscious touches with the water, as well as within the room. Within the room, there was a refrigerator, iron, tea or coffee maker, and a few snacks. Well done, Grand at Trafalgar.
